The beach in
Capo d'Orlando
Capo d’Orlando is known for its extensive beach that stretches from the lighthouse below Monte della Madonna for many kilometers to the territory of the neighboring municipality. In the central part of the town, the promenade is characterized by numerous palm trees that make the walk more enjoyable.
Costa d’Orlando manages its own beach club near the Seaside Hotel; our guests can reserve umbrellas and sunbeds at discounted rates and make use of the services we provide. In addition to ours and other private beaches, there are large stretches of free beach equipped by the municipality with showers available for bathers.
Along the beach extends a cycling path and promenade, popular in the evenings. Along this route, there are numerous bars, ice cream parlors, and restaurants where you can sit and enjoy the cool evening breeze.
The stretch of coast from the lighthouse to the port (approximately 2 km) is characterized by small coves and short stretches of beach up to the fishing village of San Gregorio. In this area, the sun is hidden from early afternoon by the overhanging cliffs, making it more popular in the afternoon for those who want to jog or simply take a walk in the shade.
